Hawaiin BBQ Bacon Burgers

Ingredients:
2 lb ground beef
8 oz bacon, finely chopped ( I didn't have enough bacon because we ate some for breakfast so I also added the bacon grease to ensure it tasted bacony)
1/2 c barbecue sauce (something tangy, not too sweet)
2 jalapenos, diced
s&p
1 pineapple, cored & sliced

Directions:
Mix ground beef, bacon, bbq sauce, and jalapenos to form patties the size of your hand. Salt and pepper the top of bottoms.

Heat a cast iron pan on medium high heat and saute the burgers. Heat a grill pan on medium heat and char the pineapple. They took about the same amount of time to cook each and the burgers were medium rare.

Notes: I also threw some caramelized onions on top and made a side of rutabaga fries with smoked paprika. John added some cheddar cheese to his.
