Raspberry Brownies

Raspberry stuff
1/2 bag frozen raspberries
2 Tb sugar
1 Tb water

Brownies
1 stick butter
5 oz chocolate
2 cups sugar
2 tsp vanilla
4 eggs
1 cup flour

In a heavy bottomed pan, melt the raspberries, sugar and water -- simmer for awhile.  When this is done strain the raspberries through a sieve so you get mostly liquid, and set aside.

Meanwhile, melt the butter and chocolate together in a double boiler.  Let it cool a little in a bowl then mix in the sugar and vanilla.  Add the eggs one at a time, then stir in the flour.  Pour into a greased square pan (I think it was 9x9) and bake in a 350deg oven for 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
